MORE PRAISE FROM OUR ALUMNI
SAGE HARRINGTON
Lille, France
When Sage Harrington, a ukulele player, singer, and songwriter, joined The Sovereign Artist Program, she felt trapped by small gig fees and shows that weren’t the right fit - and didn’t feel like she had any power to change that.
Since then, she’s transformed her pricing for both gigs and ukulele lessons - charging more than twice what she used to. More importantly, her relationships with her family, her partner, and even her own inner voices have vastly improved.
“So much has changed for me since then… not only with my relationships with my family, but also my relationship with my partner and my relationship with my own inner voices.”
THEODORA PRICE
Surrey, UK
When Theodora Price joined The Sovereign Artist Program, she felt disconnected from her work. Though she was creating regularly, she lacked a true sense of purpose and direction in her art.
She had been painting on the floor, hesitant to take up space. But through the program, she began listening to herself and including all of herself in her art – a turning point that led to deep personal and professional transformation.
Today, Theodora runs workshops and one-to-ones based on her unique womb-inspired art style. She’s shown work in group and joint exhibitions, at art fairs, and has sold art online.
“All of that came from really being able to hear myself better and honour all parts of myself, which I really did get from the program.”
ERIN SCHANTZ-HILTON
Odessa, New York
When Erin Schantz-Hilton joined The Sovereign Artist Program, she had spent 18 years running an irrigation business that was “labor intensive and exhausting.”
Since joining, Erin has sold her business, returned to her family’s land in the Finger Lakes, and committed fully to her studio, Earth Tongue. Her work is now being exhibited, and she’s attracting interest from gallerists. “My paintings create a threshold for the animals to speak for themselves… to help us reconnect with our own animal bodies and remember our belonging here on Earth.”
“I feel like I’m doing the thing I’m supposed to be doing with my life. And that feels really, really good.”
BRYANNA MILLIS
Washington DC, USA
When Bryanna Millis joined the Become Internationally Known program (now known as The Sovereign Artist), she had been in a near constant state of creative block since the pandemic.
She found herself changing her mind all the time. She bought new, exciting materials but didn't get around to using them. She had ideas… So many ideas! But couldn't see how to move forward with them.
Today, Bryanna is finishing up one of the most powerful bodies of work she has ever created. She works with purpose and feels clear on the meaning behind her art, using it as a tool for healing and connection across communities.
“I believe in myself and my work. I believe my vision is needed by the world and that I’m here with a true purpose. I feel I have arrived to myself as the artist I always wanted to be.”
THINK WE'RE DONE? NOT EVEN CLOSE!

KRISTIINA LÄHDE
Finland
When Kristiina Lähde first joined the Sovereign Artist Program (formerly known as Become Internationally Known), she immediately recognized the power that working with others offers the creative process.
Inspired by her newfound community, she decided to collaborate with other artists…
Kristiina Lähde’s recent collaborative exhibition, “Pictures of Liberation,” had well over 300 visitors, while celebrating the many forms the female body takes.
Not only was this show wildly successful, but her experience working with other artists gave her the support she needed to create new promotional materials and get her work into the world.
ISABELLE RIZO
Chicago, USA
Coming from a background in media and influencer marketing, Isabelle's journey into the art world through the Becoming Artist programs gave her permission to use her creativity as part of her entrepreneurial processes and enabled her to understand her art-making as a sacred practice.
Since working with Jessica, Isabelle has had three shows, both in Chicago and nationally, published a book of her art and set up an Artists and Mystics retreat in her home country of Romania.
"Without the tools I gained in the program I wouldn’t have accomplished the things I wanted to create as an artist."
HELEN VAN STOLK
Cape Town, South Africa
When Helen van Stolk first started working with Jessica in 2017, she was preparing for her first solo show.
Since then, she’s had six solo exhibitions – most of them sellouts – and has seen her work grow in both scale and abstraction. She’s formed powerful collaborations and now shows with galleries that are deeply aligned with her vision.
Setting clear intentions around how she wanted her work to be seen was a turning point. “Those tools have really supported me along the way.”
“Sometimes we think we can't lean into what we really want – and to be able to ask artist-to-artist, ‘How did you do it?’ – that’s been incredibly inspiring.”
CHRYSTAL HARDT
North Carolina, USA
Before becoming involved with this program, Crystal was showing
a lot and was fatigued and running out of steam. And for the first time she thought about just not painting anymore. Crystal remembers thinking "Here I am in a small town, it was already hard. How will I ever get my engines revving enough to make art again?"
Since starting the program, Crystal has had had five solo exhibitions and two of those have been really outside the box!
"You do the work, but the universe shows up to support you once you set the intention and get clear about what you want."
HEATHER HARBAUGH
Texas, USA
Heather Harbaugh creates intuitive, prophetic art using acrylics, watercolour, and clay. Before joining the program, she hesitated to even call herself an artist.
She was held back by self-doubt and a belief that she didn’t really belong in the art world. She undervalued her work – in both how she created and how she priced it. But through the program, that shifted. She reclaimed the value of her art and began to truly see herself as a professional artist.
“I discovered that I do belong in the art world as an artist – and so does my art.”
TARYN MAEIA IMRIE
Ontario, Canada
Taryn had long dreamed of becoming a professional artist – but life took them in another direction. For two decades, they worked in healthcare, supporting people through birth and bereavement. While deeply meaningful, it left their creative calling on hold.
The pandemic became a turning point, prompting them to reconsider what was possible. Through the program, they began to reconnect with their artistic identity and found the courage to take themself seriously as an artist.
“I’m finding myself now embracing ideas of what is possible in a whole new way and developing an incredible trust in myself and my capacities that simply wasn’t there before.”
